i. To become an effective member of the Living Water EFC, a prospective member shall submit to the board of elders an application for membership.
ii. The applicant will participate in membership classes (instruction)
iii. The applicant will meet with three elders to review the application and interview the applicant to ascertain whether s/he meets the membership requirements.
iv. When the board of elders is in full agreement of the applicant’s qualifications as stated in article 6 of the constitution, they will recommend that person to the congregation for membership
v. An applicant will be accepted as a member by ¾ majority vote of the members voting by show of hands at a congregational meeting
vi. Those accepted will be welcomed and given the “right hand of fellowship” at the following Sunday service Click here to download application form
