Currently our main purpose at Living Water Church is to reach a growing population of multi-ethnic African people from various African countries and tribes that now call the Des Moines area their home. Our ultimate goal is to reach out to immigrants, refugees and eventually to all people that God puts in our path, with the Gospel of peace through the Lord Jesus Christ, and expand God’s Kingdom in planting a church where people can “Glorify the Lord our God” and enjoy Him forever, and worship Him together as one body in CHRIST our LORD!
As God’s Word commands, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20;

Community involvement
Under the guidance of the Lord through Pastor Wilondja Msiando and the church’s board of elders, Living Water Evangelical Free Church aspires to provide family-oriented services to all members of the congregation and the community of Des Moines, Iowa. Living Water E. Free Church would like to transform the lives of the people we work with by supporting the development of self-confidence, spiritual knowledge, and personal growth. The Church’s programs seek to alleviate the issues faced by so many of the individuals immigrating to the United States. In addition to worship and prayer services and ministries, programs include, but are not limited to, English as a Second Language classes, an after school/tutoring program and computer literacy. We offer some assistance finding jobs, housing and transportation and an immigrant mentoring program. As an organization we are committed to helping each individual we work with become a productive member of the community so they are able to support themselves and their family.
